This site is meant to help middle and high school students choose their next independent reading book. At the school where I will be interning, a second "unit" on independent reading will be interspersed throughout my main unit. Students read independently for 10 minutes a day, and all day Friday. At the end of the school year, they will be completing a project on one of the books they read.
